ANDREAS JOHANSSON
With a background in the real estate industry, Andreas is also a veteran in the sports business.
After initially buying and selling minor league hockey teams after turning them around, he saw an opportunity to move into Binghamton, NY when the AHL franchise related to Utica. Carrying on the legacy of 50 years of professional hockey, Andreas launched the Binghamton Black Bears, and became a member of the FPHL, and has lead the league in attendance every season, outperforming the former AHL franchise - the team is also the first in the FPHL’s 15 year history to win back to back championships.
Andreas has also been through the experience of both buying teams in need of a turnaround, as well as successfully existing teams by selling to private equity investors.
