The most recent events involving social injustice and racism have once again highlighted a very serious issue in our society. While we live in a tremendous country we still are not immune to racism and the inequalities faced by many people in our communities. During the spring of 2020, the Honey Badgers backed the initiatives of two of our players, Duane Notice and MiKyle McIntosh, to bring support and awareness to the #BlackLivesMatter movement in Canada and around the world with the hope of ending systemic racism. Below is a list curated by Duane and MiKyle. Each website is unique in how it supports the Black community and what it is doing to help fight injustices.

The Honey Badgers raffled off a Notice and McIntosh signed jersey. For every $10 donated to any of the below websites, fans were given one entry into the raffle. Duane and MiKyle succeeded in raising important funds for #BLM initiatives. We hope and encourage our fans to continue donating.
