The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Monday that Ace Acumen Heights, a new local private school, has agreed to a deal to become an official partner of the team.

Ace Acumen Heights will hold presenting rights to the “Brampton Honey Badgers Academy”, in which the team will host clinics for both basketball players and coaches, giving them an opportunity to develop their skills and be taught by some of the best that Canada has to offer.

“The work of Ace Acumen Heights in the local community is admirable,” said Honey Badgers President Josie Pingitore. “We are excited to welcome them to the family and build on grassroots basketball in Brampton as we build out our Honey Badgers Academy.”

Ace Acumen Heights will also host two parent workshops in collaboration with Honey Badgers coaches, front office, and players. These will primarily focus on areas such as youth sports development, insights into coaching and professional basketball, and general education.

“At Ace Acumen Heights, we believe in empowering youth through education and sport,” said Nicole Trott, manager of admissions at Ace Acumen Heights. “Our partnership with the Brampton Honey Badgers reflects our shared commitment to excellence, community engagement and youth development.”

Honey Badgers fans can expect to see lots of Ace Acumen Heights on the teams’ social media accounts this upcoming season, as well as fan engagement opportunities through ticket and jersey giveaways!
