Brampton Honey Badgers Official Statement

The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) has announced today that they have suspended Honey Badgers guard Roddy Peters for two games, and center Tegra Izay for one game after an on-court altercation in the second quarter of the teams’ final regular season game on August 3 in Scarborough. 

The Honey Badgers organization does not condone the on-court incidents that took place. Fan and player safety is our number one priority, and we are looking forward to hosting our first playoff game since 2022 tomorrow versus Ottawa.
