Elias first joined the Honey Badgers organization during the 2023 season as a Basketball Operations and Community Relations Intern. He assisted the team in a number of different ways, including spearheading the volunteer program and ensuring that team stats were constantly up to date. After continuing to help the team out remotely through their 2024 season, he is now part of the staff full-time creating and growing relationships with fans, clients, and media as well as communicating any major Honey Badgers news to the world.
Elias is a Dalhousie University graduate, completing their five-year Recreation Management program where he earned a Bachelor of Management and Bachelor of Science (Recreation). Upon graduation, he earned academic awards for excellence and commitment.
He is a maritime native, hailing from St. Andrews, New Brunswick where he grew up on the ocean behind his family's whale watching business. His passion for basketball extends through his entire day-to-day. When he is not in the office, he is either playing hoops, or watching it.
