The Hamilton Honey Badgers fell 100-82 against the Fraser Valley Bandits Saturday at FirstOntario Centre.
Fraser Valley was ahead most of the way, holding a 48-30 lead at halftime.
Sampson Carter led the Honey Badgers with 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Joe Rocca added 17 points and Ricky Tarrant Jr. contributed 15.
Joel Friesen had a game-high 21 points for Fraser Valley in just 24 minutes, making five-of-six three-point attempts. Marek Klassen had 18 points and dished out 15 assists.
The afternoon game was the third loss in a row for the Honey Badgers (7-6), who have only four home games left in the inaugural Canadian Elite Basketball League season and three on the road.
Hamilton hits the road again, to face the Saskatchewan Rattlers at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, July 12, and then to Abbotsford, B.C., for a rematch against the Bandits at the Abbotsford Centre, July 18.
The Badgers return home to face the Edmonton Stingers July 21.
