With 10 home games played inside a modified intimate seating configuration in Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre, the Honey Badgers events will feature full-scale entertainment before, during and after world class professional basketball games. Season tickets are priced from $160 to $265 in the seating bowl, and $620 to $765 for courtside seats on the floor. Individual game tickets are expected to go on sale next spring. The seating map is linked HERE.

The Honey Badgers open their inaugural season Sunday, May 12 at 4 p.m. against the Edmonton Stingers. Modelled after top international professional leagues, the CEBL is comprised of teams in Hamilton, Edmonton, Guelph, Niagara (St. Catharines), Fraser Valley (Abbotsford), and Saskatchewan (Saskatoon). Each team plays 10 home and 10 road games using FIBA (International Basketball Federation) rules, and player and referee standards set by Canada Basketball. Rosters will be comprised of at least 70 percent Canadian players, many playing professionally in North America and overseas during the traditional basketball season.

A league created by Canadians for Canadians, the league is operated primarily by Canadian executives from the NBA, NHL, CFL, NLL, and PGA Tour. The 15-week schedule will see each team play each other twice at home and twice on the road. Four teams will advance to a championship weekend tournament at a location to be announced at a later date.
