
JOHN WIGGINS
Vice President of Organizational Culture, Inclusion and Impact, Toronto Raptors
John currently holds the position of VP of Organizational Culture, Inclusion, and Impact where he is in charge of internal team culture development and external social change initiatives across the country. John was previously with Raptors 905 as VP of Operations where he helped launch Canada’s first G-league franchise, won the G-League championship in 2017, and lead the organization to the Franchise of the Year award in 2020.
Prior to the G League, John was integral in the launch of the National Basketball League of Canada with oversight of one the founding teams (Power Basketball Club) in Oshawa and subsequently in Mississauga.
His expertise in operational excellence is rooted from his time in leadership positions at Ford Motor Company, as well as directing and coaching a successful AAU program in Melbourne, Florida. John is the Co-Founder and CEO of Focused Dreams Forward Foundation which empowers youth of the Caribbean diaspora to achieve their goals through education, sport and community. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor and currently resides in Peel Region.
