KOTAK LAW RETURNS FOR THIRD SEASON AS OFFICIAL INJURY LAW FIRM OF THE HONEY BADGERS

The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Monday that Kotak Personal Injury Law will be returning for the third consecutive season as the team's official injury law firm.

Kotak Law’s continued support goes much further than the basketball court. Over the past two seasons and moving into this season, this partnership has been used as a catalyst to support our local military veterans, first responders, and non-profit organizations.

“I am proud and excited to be heading into a third season with the Brampton Honey Badgers,” said Kotak Law Owner Nainesh Kotak. “I am very passionate about this partnership as it allows me to give back to those who have supported my family, my community and my country through their daily bravery. I cannot wait to see everyone this season!”

The Honey Badgers will host the third annual Salute to Service game presented by Kotak Law this season on Saturday, May 30 versus the Vancouver Bandits. As part of the official partnership, Kotak Law will donate tickets to be distributed directly to local military organizations, first responders, frontline workers, and non-profit organizations.

“Working with Nainesh to give back to our veterans and emergency first responders is an absolute privilege,” said Honey Badgers CEO Al Whitley. “Nainesh’s trust in our execution of this partnership and the Salute to Service game means a great deal to our organization. We are aligned and committed to ensuring that this year’s Salute to Service game presented by Kotak Law is an absolute success!."

A new feature to this partnership to begin in February, is a “Hometown Heroes” social series. Every month, the Brampton Honey Badgers and Kotak Law will select a nominated individual as their Hometown Hero of the month. This person will receive four tickets to a Honey Badgers game this summer, as well as a social media post recognizing the individual for their achievements and support to their community.

The Brampton Honey Badgers will begin their season with two home games on Friday, May 15 and Sunday, May 17 versus the Ottawa BlackJacks and Calgary Surge, respectively. Click
