SEAN EAST II AWARDED ALL-CEBL FIRST TEAM SELECTION

The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced today that Honey Badgers star guard Sean East II has earned a spot on the 2026 All-CEBL First Team, his second straight year doing so.
In his 16 regular season games played for the organization this season, the team went 9-7 while East II recorded 22.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.0 steals in 35.0 minutes per game. On July 25, Sean recorded a Honey Badgers franchise record 38 points in a crucial victory over the Winnipeg Sea Bears. This was also his personal CEBL career-high.
East II becomes the fifth Honey Badgers player to be named to the All-CEBL First Team, and the first since 2022. He closed the regular season scoring 365 points, the sixth most in the CEBL for the 2026 campaign and the second most scored by a Honey Badgers player in any single-season in franchise history.
He finished the season ranked top-10 in a number of other categories as well, including fourth in total assists (108), fifth in total steals (32), tied for third in target score winners (4), 8th in free throws made (65), and second in free throw percentage (min. 50 attempts; .915).
