Ted joined BC partners in 2017 to found and lead BC Partners Credit. Previously, Ted was President at Apollo Investment Corporation, Chief Investment Officer of Apollo Investment Management, and Senior Portfolio Manager, U.S. Opportunistic Credit. At Apollo, he was also a member of the Senior Management Committee and oversaw its Opportunistic Credit platform. Prior to this, Ted worked at Goldman Sachs where he was Managing Director of the Special Situations Group and ran the Bank Loan and Distressed Investing Desk.

Ted received a B.A. in Commerce from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is a frequent guest lecturer at leading Universities including Columbia, Havard, Indiana, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), University of Virginia, New York University, Queen’s University, and Stanford University. He sits on the boards of Riddell, South Street Securities, GreenPark Infrastructure, GSE, Context Logic and Runway Growth. He currently also serves on the boards of the Canadian Olympic Foundation, The New School, Financial Accounting Foundation, Grace Church School, amongst others.
