THANK YOU PRINCE ODURO

The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Thursday that they have mutually parted ways with Prince Oduro, the longest tenured Honey Badger of all-time.

Oduro joined the organization in 2022, making an immediate impact and helping the team to their first CEBL championship. Ever since, Oduro has gone on to become the franchise’s all-time leader in games played (84), minutes (1873), field goals made (269), rebounds (484), blocks (87), and double-doubles (11).

“It has been an honour to see Prince grow and develop as a player, and I could not be more proud of the person he has become over the past five years,” said Honey Badgers General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Jermaine Anderson. “He is leaving behind a lasting legacy with the Honey Badgers organization. From helping us win a championship in 2022 as a rookie, to setting franchise records on the court, and spending countless hours in the community off the court, he has been the foundation and heartbeat of our organization, and we wish him all the best moving forward.”

Oduro completes his five-year tenure with the Honey Badgers averaging 7.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, and 22.3 minutes. Over the 2025-26 offseason, Oduro also gave 27 talks across 18 local schools, sharing his inspiring path to professional basketball, ultimately impacting around 3700 students in and around Brampton.

The Honey Badgers organization greatly appreciate Prince for his impact on the franchise and community, and wish him all the best on his future endeavours.
