The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday a significant step forward in its technological endeavours through an official partnership with NowFantasy, a leading Canadian technology company specializing in app development and statistics.

The formal collaboration marks a continuation of successful past engagements between the CEBL and NowFantasy, highlighted by the development of CEBL Mobile and CEBL Fantasy. These ventures showcased NowFantasy's innovative solutions, providing CEBL fans with an immersive and engaging experience that solidified their connection with the league.

In 2024, NowFantasy is set to assume a more integral role with the CEBL, focussing primarily on statistics. This expanded responsibility signifies NowFantasy's commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, aimed at elevating the sports experience for CEBL fans and stakeholders alike.

“As we prepare for the start of the 2024 CEBL season, the league is excited to embark on this journey with NowFantasy, shaping the future of sports technology and fan engagement league-wide,” said Mike Morreale, Commissioner and Co-Founder of the CEBL. “Their proficiency in app development and statistics aligns seamlessly with our dedication to innovation and fan engagement. The expanded partnership will allow our fans to dive into current and historical CEBL stats in ways they have never experienced before.”

The 2024 CEBL season tips off Tuesday, May 21 at 7 p.m. local / 9 p.m. ET when the Calgary Surge host provincial rival the Edmonton Stingers at Scotiabank Saddledome.
