HONEY BADGERS WELCOME BACK CAA SOUTH CENTRAL ONTARIO AS AN OFFICIAL PARTNER

Kyle Warrener • Feb 20, 2024

The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Tuesday an official partnership agreement with CAA South Central Ontario. Renewing for a second season with the Honey Badgers, CAA continues to demonstrate their commitment to community growth and development of local and grassroots basketball.

“We are excited to announce a partnership between CAA South Central Ontario and the Brampton Honey Badgers for the 2024 season. Brampton is a growing, diverse city with a lot of young families. We have tens of thousands of members who live in the area and the GTHA, so it made sense for us to team up. At CAA, we always look for meaningful ways to give back to our members and the community. The partnership will help us deliver access to unique experiences for local families and elevate the basketball experience for CAA members and fans alike,” says Shoshana Fruitman, Senior Vice President Marketing, CAA SCO.

The partnership will help create opportunities for local basketball teams and players to rally around the Honey Badgers and take part in the game day experience, in addition to rewarding current CAA members at all home games at the CAA Centre this summer. Courtesy of CAA’s generosity, tickets will also be donated through affiliated and registered non-profit organizations to underprivileged youth and families in Brampton.

“We could not be more excited to welcome back CAA South Central Ontario for another season here in Brampton as an official partner,” said Chris Rodricks, Sr. Director, Business Operations at the Brampton Honey Badgers. “We’d like to thank CAA for their commitment to community involvement and the growth of sport in the greater Brampton area, two values that align perfectly with our organization.”

With the 2024 season on the horizon, Honey Badgers fans can get excited for what is in store for the second season of professional baseball at the CAA Centre. Honey Badgers season tickets and other ticket packages are available now at
